<\/strong>Assessment resources<\/strong> encompass information or training provided to faculty and staff to help them understand, develop, implement, communicate, and use evidence of student learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The table below shows a variety of resources that support WSU faculty assessing the learning outcomes of the UCORE general education program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\t\n\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t

The UCORE Committee includes its Subcommittee for Assessment<\/a>, and includes faculty and key administrative professionals under the Provost\u2019s area.<\/p><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Office of Assessment for Curricular Effectiveness (ACE)<\/a><\/p><\/td>

Assists with planning and supporting general education assessment, analyzing data and reporting\/preparing results for discussion. Manages UCORE assessment archives.<\/p>

Writing Program<\/a><\/p><\/td>

The Writing Program provides training and consults with faculty and programs to promote and assess student learning in written communication.<\/p><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Libraries<\/a><\/p><\/td>

WSU Libraries provides training and consults with faculty and programs to promote and assess student learning in information literacy.<\/p><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Office of Institutional Research (IR)<\/a><\/p><\/td>

Provides centrally collected data which contributes to assessment, including NSSE results, academic performance and persistence, retention and graduation rates, and student demographic information.<\/p><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
