Dear UCORE faculty who assign writing in your courses: At the March 19th Lunch and Learn we are going to be discussing “almost rubrics” and how to take frameworks (such as the UCORE Outcomes grid) and re-purpose them to be the backbone of grading rubrics for writing tasks you assign and grade in your classes.
Please (whether attending online or in person) bring at least one rubric or one “almost rubric” to the discussion that you’d like to improve (examples you are proud of are welcome, too). Register for this Lunch and Learn, where the goal is to have a lively conversation and workshop about rubrics and “almost rubrics” and to improve them.
