UCORE to Host Spring 24 Lunch & Learn Series
The University Common Requirements (UCORE) Committee will launch its Lunch & Learn series in spring 2024 with a focus on information literacy throughout the UCORE Curriculum. Workshops will kick off with a focus on the BSCI/PSCI/SSCI/QUAN designations on January 24th, 2024, in CUE 518 on the Pullman campus and via Zoom.
We will begin this first session with a general overview of the components of information literacy for 100-400 level courses followed by examples and strategies for the focal designations. We will also welcome dialogue amongst colleagues who share designations.
Lunch will be provided for in-person attendees. Future Lunch & Learns will focus on additional groups of UCORE Inquiry Areas and will be held on February 14th, February 28th, and March 20th from 12:10-1:30pm in CUE 518.
