WSU Law Award Applications Open through March 19 for UCORE Faculty

WSU announces that applications for the next Richard G. Law Excellence Award for Undergraduate Teaching will be accepted through Tues., March 19, 2024. “The Law award is a WSU tradition, and it recognizes UCORE educators for their unique and exceptional efforts to deliver top academic experiences for WSU students,” said Ashley Boyd, UCORE director. Thirteen faculty members have so far received the Law award, said Karen Weathermon, member of the award selection committee. The award is named in honor of WSU administrator and faculty member Richard “Dick” Law, who served as the director of general education from 1990 until his retirement in 2009.

UCORE to Host Spring 24 Lunch & Learn Series

The University Common Requirements (UCORE) Committee will launch its Lunch & Learn series in spring 2024 with a focus on information literacy throughout the UCORE Curriculum.
